When shopping for beats, what method do you prefer best?

1. Would you like to be able to just go to soundclick and check them out online or not because other people have access to the tracks as well.

2. Would you like to have a beat snippet cd sent to you?

3. Would you like a private link where you can listen to them without everybody else hearing them?

- How much of the track would you like to hear before knowing if it's for you or not. ie. 15secs or 30secs

Ever since MP3.com went down, I havent done anything with my tracks. I've made a grip of new ones but wanted to get some feedback on what the best method is before I go over to sounclick if I even do that. I've been holding back alot of tracks that are bangers so I can get them to the right people. Let me know what method you prefer. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Keep them coming. Shoot me your address on the pm and I'll send you a disk. I got some really dope shit that I've been hanging on to. I got a couple of tracks that are on that Bosko/Dj Quik tip with the funky ass synth bass and a live guitarist. I got a grip of bangers to sell. Hit me up and anyone else who is interested as well. Peace.

All of the three will work in conjunction if you segment your beats....

Different piles for different outlets... This way your risk is spread out... Jump on the Shack and request a Producer page....

Man, if we were shopping for beats, we'd go to a producer in person and get beats. I don't like the whole idea of "keeping it net" and getting even beats from the internet, business transactions like that should be done in person....IMO!!

I just cleared out my PM Box so you can hit me on there.

I hear you Sydal on going to the producer in person but sometimes you cant make it all the way to the spot so the mail works out nice. What does IMO stand for man. I see that shit every now and then. Peace.

soundclick is a good way to see what styles the producers are doing.dont look for good quality, just see how the producer is bringin it.if its catchy it will catch your ear (good quality or not) it its bullshit you will pass it up.i just got a beat off of (sicc ass mick) and its hella tight -quality top notch-. and its not one of those beats on soundclick and it was free!!! thanks again playa.
