I will try and explain as best I can.
Rugby League is different from Rugby, but similar in ways to American Football. The sport was made in 1895 in England and Australia started it's own league in 1924.
A few rules.
80 minutes, 2x 40 minute halves.
6 tackles (6 downs)
If you get tackled, you play the ball under your legs and continue the next tackle (down), no stoppage. So its like running a no huddle offense all game.
Ball can't be passed forward only back (lateral passing only)
Ball must be grounded over the try line (end zone) with control
Scoring is called a TRY (touchdown)
TRY is worth 4 points, conversion (extra point) is worth 2 points
A field goal is attempted in the run of play and is worth 1 point
13 players on the field for each team, both have to attack and defend.
^^so that is a brief explanation of the rules, now onto the game.
The grand final (superbowl) is being held in Sydney at Homebush stadium (80,000 sold out) this sunday october 3rd at 5pm local time.

A football club based in a working class area of Kogarah in Sydney with a rich history, once winning the competition 11 years in a row throughout the 50's and 60's, the glory days of the club. In my era we have not won since 1979 and are labelled as chokers. I have never seen my team win a final (born in 80) but have seen them lose throughout the 80's & 90's.
2010 we have established ourselves as a strong defensive team throughout the year and are able to turn on the style when we need points. In past years we have always been known for our innovative attacking style of play but average defence, the transition has been positive as we hope to finally win a fucking final, atleast while I'm alive..
Here is a short video of last weeks game to get us into the final.
heart attack stuff for me right up until the last few seconds lol.
Our opponent is the Sydney Roosters

Both clubs have history, but the Roosters are based in the rich areas of Sydney and have faggot bandwagon fans that only turn up to games when they win. They sip wine & lattes and are overall faggots in general. Only fags support them. Don't be a fag.
