Although I really hate the Cowboys, I agree with your comment! Naw but all jokes aside, Irvin is deserving of the honor even with his off field problems but IMO they fucked my boy Monk though cuz he wasnt as much as a vocal leader or star power like Mike.... Monk has more TDs, yards and catches then Irvin and the same amount of Super Bowl rings. Irvin had Troy Aikman(Hall of Famer) throwing him the passes while Monk had had 3 different non-Hall of Famers (Rypien, Williams and Theisman) throwing him duds! Irvin WAS there main receiver while Art Monk had to share the catches between himself, Cary Clark and Ricky Sanders.... But oh well another year watching a humble and great receiver get screwed by the HOF voters! Congrats to Irvin though.....

What's funny is during the pre game shows for the Superbowl this weekend Theisman was makin a push for people to vote for Irvin. I hate the Cowboys but I do agree he should be in. What I'm gettin at though is Theisman was sittin there givin all these reasons Irvin should be voted in. Didn't even care to mention his boy Art Monk, and he's been gettin screwed a lot longer than Irvin has. Irvin just got fucked the first year, even though he shoulda been in. Monk held that all-time receptions title for a minute though until my boy broke it, but I think he deserves some respect just for holdin it as long as he did.
