Pullin Strings is a must listen. My favorite Wax album.

I want to take back some of what I said. This is a fun album. The beats are good and the flow is on point but I stick to what I said about the rhyme complexity. Sometimes I judge too harshly because I'm usually looking for complex rhymes and soulful lyrics but this is a fun album and I do bump it.

Hmm, I've only heard El-P on RTJ's. Rhyming almost entirely single syllables, sometimes words and sometimes single syllables within multi syllable words. Either way, it was painfully uninspiring to me.

El-P's bars are so basic and whack it's not worth listening to, even though I like Killer Mike.

I copped this album solely on the strength of OP's suggestion and I can say he put too much much on it. This album has a good flow with up tempo beats and there are some tight bars littered in but most of the album is pretty basic rhyming. I need albums with more depth to them to keep me interested.

Well, he said he had a "wrap deal" as in gettin them thangs wrapped. It's clever play on words. As far as I know, the Sinaloa cartel isn't interested in signing rap artists but I could be wrong. I felt this way for quite a while too, but like you, I heard Pullin Strings and I was hooked.
