how can people just be like "I'm no longer going to eat carbs" then eliminate bread and shit, those people must be insane
I did it for like 2 months a few years ago when I was "cutting". It sucked bad for like the first week, then it was easy. Think you just need time for your body to detox. I was 195 and cut up off carbs, when I started eating them again I put on like 10lbs. instantly lol

i saw why; its because per 1g of carbs they soak 9g of water, or i dont know now that i type that it sounds pretty extreme i dont remember the actual numbers but yeah, tons of water retention. as long as theyre part of your regular diet you wont ballooon up. and i think people mistake that bloat for instant weight gain and also i think generally when people fall off carbs they go way overboard. "oh man i missed carbs so much so im going to eat this entire 3,000 calorie portion of pasta then eat a huge sandwich then eat a whole pizza"
