One of my boys (who lives in the bay) who is a die hard raiders fan, dude I always go to games with, says he hopes the raiders move to la. He seems to believe the team would be more successful in la, like more free agents or coaches would wanna go there or something. Idk fuck that, I want them in the bay. Doesn't have to be Oakland, but somewhere in the bay. With that said, I'll remain a fan even if they move, just won't be happy about it.

The players get up for the game a little more too. The players have said so. Its for bay area bragging rights for 4 years.
I'm sure they do. You can't have 2 teams that close geographically and not have some type of rivalry. Like I'm sure it the same in NY. We don't look at the jets and giants and think they're rivals, but I'm sure the fans always get into it, and the players want to be the best team in NY

Mark Davis has said in a few interviews option number 1 is always Oakland, but the city doesn't seem to want to work with him, then he said he's trying to work something out with Berkeley and play at Memorial Stadium which would be dope because it's still close to Oakland and Memorial Stadium is freshly renovated and a nice stadium.

Seems like every interview swings to LA talk though and Davis keeps saying if LA gives him a nice stadium he'll move in a heartbeat.

Raiders keep getting screwed on stadiums. The whole reason they left Oakland was because Oakland refused to update the Coliseum, LA promised them updates to the LA Coliseum and that never happened, so Oakland says come back and we'll give you an updated Coliseum, they blow 300 million and the Coliseum is still a shit hole lol

Oakland keeps bullshitting with these short term lease extensions. If the Raiders don't work something out with Berkeley they should bounce to LA. There's still all those groups of billionaires who want to break ground on new stadiums in multiple different spots in LA, the SoCal fan base is still owned by the Raiders, look at Raider games in San Diego, they're more like Raider home games most of the time lol

A lot of players would probably much rather play in a market like LA over Oakland also. If Berkeley doesn't work out they should fight for LA.

I just wrote a fat ass essay (no cheeto @cheeto ) about SF/Oakland fan base discussion. But then even I didn't want to read it. So Ill say this.

Are the 49ers' and Raider's rivals? No.
Are the 49er fans and Raider fans rivals? Yes.

Who cares what the Raider/9er fans outside of the bay area think of the fan base relationship? No offense, but it's like hearing Texas's opinion on the best cheesesteak shop in Philly. You're not here, so you don't know.
