I love when fighters change trainers like it was their fault. Cotto had a great trainer. Lol at being good enough to give Mayweather a tough fight but firing him after losing to Trout after he underestimated him.

I figured it would be something like this though. Cotto has been known to take a soft touch after a loss, if not a couple. Really surprised he fought Trout after May tho

Paulie did outbox Broner in more rounds, i would like to see the round by round landed punches stats i never did see that. Just cuz u land 5 good shots in a round doesn't mean u win the round. Broner looked like a fucken robot, i said it before hes has no clue as to whats gonna happen to him when he fights the real contenders at 147.

One thing I did notice ever since Cotto went with Pedro Diaz is his footwork was very good, but it seemed his hands weren't doing so much. He just looked slower
That started after the first Margarito fight. Look at the Clottey fight. He had tons of opportunities to keep letting his hands go with Clottey on the ropes and just stood there. The 140lb Cotto would've been wailing on him. But overall, I thought he looked decent with Diaz as his trainer. As good as he's going to look at this stage of his career really.

Its fucked up when legit fighters like Malignaggi are just trying to eat and get robbed like that. He's 32. he may not get another title shot

edit:

he probably has a couple Ms already though....lol

You think that was the best fight on his career? He went 12 rounds with a prime cotto...

The Broner hype is real
Paulie's fight w/ Cotto was a display of his heart, not so much a display of sticking to a gameplan. So we disagree. Paulie solidified his ability to be a good trainer and a boxing commentator.

I think Broner is a star in the making. He can learn from this fight and will.

Broner moved up 12lbs to fight Paulie which people seem to forget that this was his 1st fight at 147lb. All Broner needs to do is up his workrate, work the body more, don't give up early rounds, and less talking in the ring and more fighting. Other then that dude is a boxing star in the making.

Broner won that fight. It wasn't a dominating fight but he did pull it out. He controlled the ring for the most part, he landed the better shots and his overall performance for a guy moving up two weight classes was ok.

As far as his problems are concerned, if that had been a guy with some power at the end of his punches the fight would have been stopped. More head and feet movement and ditch the philly shell if you don't really know how to use it.

Size matters. Fury has a fair shot.
Haye is a pretty small HW. Klitschko towered over him, Fury is going to be a giant.
I believe skills can only take you so far. If someone is bigger, stronger, and taller, it's not easy.

I hope Haye gets the KO and stops this freak show.
