What kind of headphones you looking Fiver? I use sennheiser hd 202s for listening to stuff at the house, theyre big and bulky but the sound is awesome and ive had them for five or six years. For the gym and shit where im active I use skullcandy earbuds with the briaded cord, the shitty ones everyone uses they last about 6 months.

Not really sure. The pair I had was a pair of sony earbuds, on the expensive side like $80, don't remember specifically. I got them about 3 years ago. I liked them a lot, often earbuds fall out of my ears, I guess I have odd shaped inner-ears...But these fit perfectly. They would mostly be for at home movie and music on the laptop, occasionally travelling out and about. I don't go to the gym, but if I did I think I could just pick up some cheap earbuds I wouldn't mind losing. I like clear bass without over powering the rest, and that's the appeal of the motorheadphones to me. But, I don't know yet.
