Man, those were the days.

I remember being single, it was great.

I used to do that exact same thing, sometimes even thru the night til i got up for work.

but back then, my couches were comfortable, we bought new couches a few months back because she wanted a sectional... so now my comfortable Italian leather couches sit in storage.
Sometimes I'll sleep through the night on it if I don't work the next day. For some reason it really throws me off if I sleep on the couch all night and then have to get up and go to work. Don't know why that is but it has sucked the 3 or 4 times I've done it since living here.

Oh.. I found a new twang banger for you too breh...

Yeah I just can't get into that stuff, at all. About the closest I come is I like some old Willie Nelso and Johnny Cash but that's more bluegrass and I like some folk music. That's about it.
i listen to a lot of different music genres.

my mom was a country singer for many many years out here, she had a band til 84 / 85ish. so i was kinda born into the country music.

she still does singing but dont perform or record anymore.

plus my whole family being from the south kinda has my blood tied into it.

Yeah I do too. About the only two genres I can't get into is Country and Techno/House/Trance/etc. I guess Bluegrass is tied into Country but it's a totally different sound in my opinion.

As someone who has never lived in the country, or has any family from there, and we have been city dwellers going back generations I guess it kind of makes sense I can't relate to it. But it's not really the subject matter as much as the whole twang sound of at least modern Country (80s and on) that makes me want to kick kittens.
