I think SB is my favorite out of Sacred (as of now, That Axion dude has potential). Thats not saying a lot. I think he sound better over trap/ hood type beats. That joint he just posted was pretty fresh.

He has a decent flow and energy, but really no stand out lyrics.

being stand out and memorable is something pretty much all the rappers on sacred have trouble doing, outside of los rakas i guess, but thats more because they're rapping in spanish, the music itself is/has become pretty americanized and nothing special either imo

Short answer: yes.

I have a had the entire set lined up in Ableton, played it live. Then over the course of the month tweaked levels, and automations to what I felt sounded good. I also tweaked a lot of global mastering parameters.

Appreciate you have the ear for that, I was trying to make it sound sharp, and un-muddy.
It's nothing dude, I try to keep a keen ear to help others as well as myself when it comes to music. Mixes are key to the experience of a song, so it's good to see you progressing with that

Have you got any gigs going lately? I think I remember the last time I PM'ed you, you said you had done a house party or something
yea... there's a little hipster spot, I do. They do it once a month, and good turn out. I been getting like 45 - 60min set.

I was originally making the mix you listened to for a promoter that is going to throw a electronic event, and bring over artist from overseas. I want to jump on that as a opener in one of the rooms. Thats why I was going for a real house sound.

Tony Lo, you should map your controller to a live session of Fruity Loops.... a live set wouldn't be so tough. Just spit your beats into parts, like Drum / Bass / Synth / Samples. Have them all looped, and route to effect channels. Might inspire you in the way you make a track. Most tracks I make, I think how will I be able to flip this while mixing.

or better yet, snatch Ableton live for pure performance reasons.
