there missing alot in the show,a shit ton of details.iv read over 600 pages in the second book, and by the 3rd episode theyv caught up to me,thats 200 hundred pages per episode,no way they can cram all the good stuff in 13 episodes.

oh ya and im pretty sure the gay scene in the last episode doesnt happen in the book, fuckin hbo tryin to make everything gay viewer friendly
HBO has done a great job. some of the scenes they made way better than the book so it goes both ways.

but yeah u can't expect them to cover everything in the book its just impossible. they could break up book 2 into two seasons but its hard to say now without knowing what they want to focus on.

I'm not too impressed by the first 4 episodes of this season, the book > the show

I could see how someone could view it this way. I haven't read any of the books, but even just from watching the show you can tell that it's a buildup for some wild things to come.

Even though there have been times in this 2nd season that felt like the show was dragging...I know that soon enough, shits about to go down.

my coworker can't stop talking about this show. I can't believe I haven't watched even one episode of it yet. Should I start with season 1 episode 1?
Watch from the beginning and then read up on it online to get a sense of who is who and the different families, it's better when you understand what's going on
