I'll be checkin' 4 it. A friend of mine said the soundtrack is done entirely by Daft Punk and it'll be considered Daft's new album as well. Def wanna hear that.

Accordin' 2 wikipedia:

Electronic music duo Daft Punk will be composing the film score. At the time of the 2009 Comic-Con, it was revealed they have composed 24 tracks for the film. When Kosinski was asked why he decided to have Daft Punk to do the film score, he replied, "How could you not at least go to those guys?" Olivia Wilde revealed that the duo will also make an appearance in the film, and that Daft Punk may be involved with future promotional events. The song "Separate Ways" by Journey will also be featured in the film.

I have to give this movie a 2.5 out of 5 stars. It looks good visualy and the costumes are dope. There are some good CG effects but 3D was kind of weak (it was barely there IMO) and the story was lacking in some places.

Overall an ok movie...but it cool to watch in a good IMAX theater. I dont think its worth the extra cost on the 3D.

Oh and LMFAO @ the disclaimer at the front of the 3D movie lol

Just saw it today. The visuals were cool and the suits and vehicles were dope too. I wasn't really paying attention to the story as much as I was too busy watching the visuals. I got kinda lost in the story so ill prob watch it again when it comes out on blueray. 8/10. Music was dope too

I thought you meant like a "this movie fucks with epileptics" disclaimer.

I had no idea itd be the director letting everyone know 10% of this thing was only converted. And was not intended to be in 3D at all.

Story was fuckin crrrap!!!
You dont like Electric Jesus?

A lot of things make sense if you watch the first movie, including the story.

Flynn's abilities are explored in the first one, and the natural progression of technology that led to the grid becoming what it was makes sense.

I'm kinda surprised there weren't any little nods to technology in this movie like in the first one where Pac-Man was playing on a grid map.

I liked this movie a lot.

IMAX 2D is the way to go.

i saw it today in 3D and it was pretty cool, I never got into the old school one but I thought this was pretty good. The visuals were cool and I loved the old school analog sounding score I felt like it was 1982 again.

Because 90% of people didnt see or dont even know there was a first one! They see the visuals and were like ooh man this looks good and go see it but then say it sucks cause they are not able to tie the story together with the first one since the first one came out in 82 and your dealing with tons of 90s babies on here! Im an 80s baby and ya I was only 2 when it dropped but I still watched in growing up and hearing word of mouth its a good movie to watch. and I will go see this new one as soon as i can afford it. Some movies you just respect and go to theater and dont download.

Yeah, I can see how people would think it was an ok movie if they hadn't seen the original.

the first one was hokey and pretty ridiculous, but even in 1982 those graphics were unheard of. At least they tied the two together well and had a great score.

That score is actually just amazing. I'm a fan of Daft Punk, and they reached well above what they've done so far with the score.
