I thought Invictus was terrible. I felt like a college student directed it. I was shocked to see "Clint Eastwood" in the end credits.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it was terrible...but thats me. I just re-read my post and saw that I wrote 'pretty good'. I actually should demote that and say it was .....ok. I just popped it in not really knowing anything about it except there was something to do with Nelson Mandela. The movie has no replay value.....will not be watching it again....

Angels & Demons – Better than the first movie which I hated, yet less interesting. Too long and the end was terrible.

1 out of 5

Get Him To The Greek – Made me laugh at parts. I think Sarah Marshall might have been better though, but I don’t remember it so well. I expected Russell Brand to be funnier. P Diddy was in it too much. Didn’t like the “touching” ending which kinda drug on too long.

2.75 out of 5

THE COLLECTOR - I DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS UP WITH "THE COLLECTOR" BUT I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS DOPE. TOO BAD THERE WASN'T A SCENE WITH THE RAZOR WIRE BEING PUT TO USE

I say 3 out of 5. There was some poor acting by alot of the cast but a couple had some decent roles.

Action scenes could have been a little better as the red baron was a great marksmen and not so much a great pilot but it does not go into this that much ( he does mention that he never enters into a fight that he cannot win, and if you know you will lose than fly away and fight another day ).

I did not like the ending at all and thought they should have shown what happened.

i just watched shutter island. I dont think I will watch this movie again....because I didn't really like how it was written...it just seemed awkward...BUT....I love the screenplay, directing, acting, and the umm atmosphere that was created. I am still trying to figure out what was happening in this film. There are 2 plausible explanations, i think....1 being that Teddy (leo) was sane, and the other he is insane......and I think it was made to be like that. Keep in mind I never read the book...

spoilers....

Scorcese gives you plausible reasons for each outcome in the end. For example, at the very start of the movie when they are on the ferry, it begins with Leo throwing up in the bathroom. When he comes out, he puts his jacket on and digs for his cigarettes. However, the cigarettes are not in his pocket. He says something along the lines of "I coulda sworn I just had them.." and Chuck (who he has never met before, and is already smoking his cigarette) offers him some of his cigarettes. I believe his cigarettes were taken on purpose, and this is when they begin to drug Leo. If anyone wants to discuss I will go further into details, but I believe he was mentally stable......and the whole movie was NOT a figment of his imagination..

interesting theory. but i think the main telltale sign of who Leo really was . is the reaction of the other inmates when he was "questioning" them. like when he scribbled on the paper to get that one guy to go crazy, or how scared that woman was when they mentioned the accident.

yea, so you are agreeing with me that he was sane, right?
