shit it used to take me like 4-5 hours to download a porno from napster. then i would have to delete that shit cuz it was my parents computer. kinda scumbaggish now that i think of it.

Shit I started back on AOL when mass mailers and servers were popular. Private rooms "server", "server 2", etc. Of course you couldn't get in as easy without your room buster. hahaha. That was more than a decade ago.

After that came IRC, which I still use, just not for downloading.

Bottom line is nothing beats torrents. I find everything I want and max out my connection. You literally can not beat that.

I used to download all the music with DC++ everything nobody knew is on there.. but I haven't used it in years... sadly...
I don't think they have a version for the mac, though...
