Oden nearing return

Trail Blazers center Greg Oden, who will miss his 12th consecutive game tonight against Dallas, is starting to see marked improvement in his left knee, which was chipped on Feb. 12 in a collision with Golden State's Corey Maggette.

The Blazers training staff was ecstatic with Oden's workouts on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, saying they were by far the best he has had since the injury.

"He's getting close,'' a source said.

Oden will not play Friday against New Jersey, but the team has already committed to bringing Oden on the upcoming five-game trip, which starts Sunday in Atlanta and continues through Memphis, Indiana, Cleveland and Milwaukee.

anyone link for this game? i cant find shit. and mannish i would expect u to be more mad about the SITUATION of the foul, not the foul itself, like i said. i only say that from what u post on here cause obviously i dont know you, but fuck, are u serious? what was he expecting???????????? u must not play urself, cause u only do that fucking bullshit when ur pissed. specially when ur down 30!! kidding me? fucking going for ball with 3 secs left, swiping at someones head? fuck you. just because farmar tried to help him up, and ariza said he was going for ball its oK?? GUARANTEE THAT IF THAT WAS ARIZA ON THE FLOOR AND RUDY THE ONE FOULING, HE WOULD BE SUSPENDED. end of story. fuck all of you that think a foul like that is ok when down by that much with 3 secs left in the 3rd, AND THAT INCLUDES U MANNISH.

^^^HA! naw I don't like that shit and its a bad situation, but Rudy's ok and I don't think Ariza meant for that shit to happen, even though it was a terrible decision and pretty clearly out of frustration. I aint gonna sit here and dwell on it, especially when Rudy is gonna be back in a couple days. Mike n Mike said he wanted to play today but they wouldnt let him.

im starting to think the weakest link on the team is the medical staff.
