Haze [FPS - PC, PS3, X360]

It was supposed to be a time exclusive for the ps3 and come to the 360 a few months after it came out. But it has since been cancelled on the 360 and it's a PS3 exclusive! I ain't trippin tho..Gears of War 2 will be 1 of the sicckest games ever! It'll give GTA 4 a run for it's money for game of the year!!

4.5 Presentation
A bland story with weak characters and simplistic commentaries on serious topics, Haze is a generic tale at best about war.
4.0 Graphics
Tons of visual issues abound within the game, from texture tears and non-descript environments to pop-in and odd animation problems.
5.0 Sound
Dialogue is hokey and repetitive regardless of what side you're on. Sound effects are good, but that's not enough to make you turn the volume up once you've hit mute.
4.5 Gameplay
A creative concept hampered by gimmicks, a weak story and poor AI, Haze is a disappointment from a developer well versed in shooter mechanics.
4.5 Lasting Appeal
Two player split-screen and four player co-op helps put a minor spin on the campaign, but it won't extend the replayability of the game much. Nor will multiplayer modes and its useless merit system.

I played the demo and thought it was decent. Looks like Ubisoft fucked this game up, which sucks because I had high expectations based on the early screen shots and early information. I might rent it or something because it's getting mixed reviews - some people say it's awesome others say it sucks.
I'll probably wait until Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 before getting another FPS game, which I'm sure both will be way better than Haze. Also MGS4 comes out in a few weeks I think so I'm in no hurry to get a game in between GTA4 and MGS4.
