Kilo Curt has lived a life most people only see in movies. We sat down with him in Vallejo to hear the full story, from growing up as a pastor’s son in the Crest to running with the Romper Room crew, the Fresno case that sent him and Mac Dre to federal prison, and building Thizz Entertainment after they came home.
Kilo takes us through selling crack at 12, hitting banks at 16, and the informant with a wire who set them up in Fresno. He talks about doing fed time alongside Dre, getting shipped across the country to Allenwood, and the real origin of the word “Thizz.” He also opens up about losing Mac Dre and shares a wild story about a show in Marin City back when Tupac was still a local name.
This is Bay Area history straight from someone who lived it.
Shout out to Lil Kilo for setting this up ??
