Polo G – Spiritual War [Video]

Polo G just gave “Spiritual War” the full visual treatment, and it plays like the kind of drop that’s meant to sit with you, not just slide by in the feed.

The official video is out now, turning one of the most inward-looking cuts from this era into something you can actually watch unfold. “Spiritual War” lives on “Hood Poet: Black Heart Edition“, Polo’s expanded edition of “Hood Poet” — a massive 40-track release that landed December 19 via Columbia (Capalot/Columbia).

In other words: this isn’t a random loosie. It’s part of the bigger “Hood Poet” chapter, just turned darker, longer, and more reflective with the “Black Heart” update. The title says a lot about the tone. Polo’s best records have always lived in that tension between survival instincts and self-awareness, and “Spiritual War” leans into exactly that space — the push-pull of faith versus fear, peace versus paranoia, growth versus what the environment keeps pulling you back into. The video reinforces that mood instead of distracting from it, keeping the focus on the weight of the record and the mindset behind it.

Direction comes from DiamondVisuals, and the production side has been credited to Ayo1204, Jack, and Haze (with the track releasing as part of the “Black Heart Edition” drop).
