Young Lay has one of the craziest stories in Bay Area rap. From his beginnings in North Vallejo’s Lofas neighborhood, Lay developed his talent early and immediately attracted a deal from producer Khayree’s Young Black Brotha Records, who put out Mac Dre’s first albums.
