what was the premise of the show? Was it just an hour long opinion show? I saw a clip that someone put up of the day he called the caller a sodomite, and he was doing some kinda airplane skit. WTF?

i didnt see that actual show live but i heard about it.

mostly the show was opinion on the topics of the week. it was sort of like the radio show only a very tamed down version, although savage did occasional go on a few rants

Michael Savage lives in another world. I used to listen to this when I was a major Republican...when I was like 17...soon as I took a break from politics and got back into it...I was like "I can't believe the crap this guy is spewing".

A Michael Savage piece sounds like this:
"These hippy liberal commies want to teach our children sex education, forcing them to have sex. Youre not forcing my kid to have sex, I'd be at the front steps of the school with my double barrel 12 gauge. These red threat Stalinists are a bunch of homosexual agenda liberal idiots who know nothing, and refuse to salute our flag. Anyone who refuses to salute our flag should be deported. Speaking of deportation, we need an electrocuting fence between here and Mexico. These Mexican illegals only take our jobs and don't pay taxes."

It's just paranoia/rambling/republicanism/hubrism at its best.

I never seen the show, but I tune into it on my drive home from work sometimes when I need some comic relief. This guy has a superiority complex married with a victim's complex, his bipolar spews are funny to listen to because in the end he contradicts himself. The FCC take Howard Stern off the air for his adolescent schtick humor and leave this ignorance/hate mongerer on the air. Doesn't make sense.

adolescent humor??? the language and/or subject matter on sterns show is the equivilant on a porn channel at times.

and the FCC DIDNT take stern off the air.

Are you saying adolescent's don't watch porno? For the most part his humor is gutter level just where most teens like it to be.

2nd. my take is if they can get their hands on porno somehow that is on them. but it shouldnt be on PUBLIC AIRWAVES
