Nah dude. LA Times may have been the first to report the story, Im not sure, but Rolling Stone is the one who really put it out there detailing everything and backing it all up in 2002. That article was one of the most amazing journalistic pieces I have ever read. Then the same author, Randall Sullivan, put out that LAbyrinth book which was a more detailed version of that article. I give Rolling Stone mad props for that article and this newer one. They are really investigating this shit and getting down to it to expose the LAPD for what bullshit they are.

the reason so many rappers or gangster murders arent ever solved is because of the ghetto code that says gangstas take the laws into their own hands. its not their fault, nobody cooperates with investigators so how are they supposed to solve anything. the murders are solved, just not by proffesional investigators, rather revenge is handled in the streets

Well no shit no dude from the ghetto is gonna help out or whatever. It's not like you see these cops and detective on the grind trying to figure it out. It's what detective go to school for and all that training to figure out all this shit out. Nothin has been done, ya its not easy to figure out murders and all that, you think you would have a led somewhere. These cops and detectives see that its a rapper and then try for a few month if they cant find anything they say fuck it.
