the numbers come out tomorrow. Most people are guessing it peaked around 7-8million. Kimbo vs. Thompson peaked at 6.5M. I think they were right at what Fox expected going against the Stanford-Oregon game. They got fucked by not leading into the fight with Guida-Bendo. They probably could've got to 10M with people going apeshit about that fight and getting more viewers to turn in for the main event. Kimbo had Gina Carano leading him in.
Plus they had 10M+ viewers in Brazil (Dana exclaimed 60M but that's BS).

In other news Mike Goldberg was on the MMA Hour today and said he's been told the next Fox broadcast will be 2 1/2 hours. Awesome.

It was an amazing weekend for sports, so much shit happened it's like fuck, slow down! For example I heard Pac-Marquez did the best ever ratings in mexico for boxing the previous record was 33 million held by Margarito vs Pacquiao so people are saying around 50 million or more which is mind boggling to me, plus all the college games then of course the NFL on sunday. Sports overload!

they should bring Kimbo back and have him fight Rampage on Fox lol. That might do 10mill. I know it's going to be tricky for them because most guys have PPV clauses in their contracts and aren't going to be willing to forego that for an under the table bonus to fight on Fox.
I'm guessing the next one they'll use Cruz to get a title fight on there, have a big name in the co-main event and then get a barnburner matchup to open the show. Something like Cruz vs. Bowles/Faber, Forrest vs. Tito III, Diego vs. Hughes, Melvin vs. Cerrone/Diaz

i got brock winning too but people think reem will run through him which seems unlikely to me. brock got a chin and can last a fight, he's proven it even with his loos to cain where he survived longer than most would in the position he was in. all brock got to do is work on his punching where it doesnt look like a female throwing them and he'll be straight and he'll be in any fight you put in front of him.
