Kuma is the furthest thing from fine.

dating back to last August, Iwakuma has given up something like 55 hits in 43 innings and has an era of more than 7. Thats a bad sign, especially since its carried over from a season ago. He has looked less than stellar in both starts this year. The league has either a) figured him out or b) has lost his touch. Either way, he is NOT fine.

I didnt want him back. I could see it start to go down hill for him. He had a stretch where he only pitched 20 innings in 5 games. Thats a TERRIBLE stat.
Kuma ended the year with 15 wins and he didnt pitch a full season. He also only allowed 21 walks the entire season last year. Iwakuma is in his prime and will pull out of any funk he get's in. He shouldn't of even came out in the 6th inning in the last game. You could tell he didnt have it that night and had already thrown over 90 pitches. Also there had been a pitcher ready to go in the past 2-3 innings. Lloyd needs to start making better decisions.

Cano .214

Seager .211

Jackson .205

Miller .194

Morrison .176

Weeks .174

Ruggiano .125

Zunino .121

Also, regarding Happ last night:

It was only the second time this season that a Mariners starter had gone at least seven innings in a game, and the first since Felix Hernandez on opening day.
^^^^^THAT is why we suck this year. Pitching carried this team last year. Not the case thus far.

That was an incredible comeback yesterday, in a somewhat must win game. Cruz is going nuts right now. Glad he is turning out to be a good acquisition....i was very skeptical about it.

PS- Our SP is still a mess....that was fucked by Pax yesterday.

Another great game last night, albiet its Texas. Hopefully, the pitching is settling down and getting on track. Paxton is the only one still struggling in the SL right now.

Ackley, Zunino, Jackson, and Lomo...need your bats, brehs...spark em up. Cano slumping big time too. Seager sliding. We need the offense to pick up again here soon.
