never been a baseball fan but I understand the history of the cubs suckiness. Only baseball game I ever went to was a cubs game at Wrigley Field when I was a kid. When I was like 12 I got a chicago whitesox shirt because I thought it looked cool, my uncle almost kicked my ass and made me take it off. lol
I thought this was going to be a thread about rules for being a cubs fan.
Things like:
Rule. Come up with a contrived story about why you've built a connection (aka jumped on a bandwagon) to a team you have no business being a fan of.
"So you're from Alabama. How'd you become a Cubs fan?"
Well it's a long story . . . **insert lame story about how your great grandfather was in Nebraska and fucked the Cubs' starting pitcher in a gay speakeasy and your family has been fans ever since**
I've been a Cub fan since 1987, even though we haven't done shit except choke our asses off, or just be plain shitty, except this year, but it's not over.

True, Zambrano said he wants to go to Venezuela for the break, but it would be nice to see him get a start in the all star game, he's a hell of a pitcher, we'll see.
