Across The Pond (Area Codes) is the first in a new series of mixtapes to promote the US underground rap scene to a UK audience. From Hardcore to Hyphy to Crunk to Commercial, everything dope is given a place. 20 tracks of unique and heavy hip hop, each mixtape hosted by a different artist.
Area Codes is hosted by Grand Noble, of Richmond group Grand Angel. The mixtape features their hyphy track 'Hyphy Slap (In The Trunk)' as the opener. It also features C-Dubb, who has just been signed to legendary rapper X-Raided's record label. Ren Da Heat Monsta, of Doja Clik, also puts in work with a west coast anthem. We have Crooked I co-sign KareLezz's track with legend Chino XL. Thizz Latin signee Ca$h Crop also drops a track. Infamous South signee Crimeboss Luciano contributes a track featuring Ty Nitty. There are the finest West Coast tracks on here from the likes of Young Gully, Pablo Fetti, Tre Mak, Nufsed, Wallet and many more. Florida's Big Lo represents for the south. This is just the start.
