This album "Young Mass Presents... The Best Of Daygo City" had a limited release early this year ,and got nominated for a 2009 San Diego Music Award in the "Best Hip Hop Album" category. The album lost out to the homies Deep Rooted, but after receiving the nomination, and other attention, Jake Records picked up the project and will release it everywhere on 11/10/09.

Big shout out to the Siccness Fam that contrubututed to the project including Kayo with his On Fyre Entertainment Group, Crhymes & The Cor, Jimmy Powers, Black Cotton, and DieNasty Records. There have been a lot of well done SD hip hop compilations... releases by Dave Moss, Maurice J, Bogie, and CoopDvill all layed the groundwork for the project. We did mix it up on this one by including acts with different styles from all over the city. Some of the best Gangsta, Underground, Mainstream, and Latin style is reped on the disk.
