I worked for Nordstrom’s at a mall during the holiday season a couple times. Pay was pretty good, around $15/hr or some shit, but the bad part was the fucking X-Mas CD they played. ONE FUCKING GAY Christmas CD ON REPEAT ALL DAY LONG. Drove me insane. “Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock” – SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH! Everytime I hear that shit it’s like I’m about to have a seizure or just completely snap and turn into incredible hulk or some shit.
yeah, some retail stores are decent...i know a kid who bought a tight eclipse cuz he made 4 g's in a little over two months during the holiday season just in commission alone, at the Sharper Image.
but one of the worst holiday jobs i had was to work at a christmas tree farm. U break ur back all day unloading trees off trucks and standing them up, becoming covered in head to toe in sap, and then u gotta carry them to the car, and if ur LUCKY enough to get a tip, u gotta fight with 4 other guys to get ur grimy ass dollar from Mr. Magoo in his brand new lexus.

WORKING RETAIL IS a bothc and a half DURING XMAS...FUCK THAT, HAVING TO PICK UP AFTER PEOPLE AND ACT ALL FAKE AND SHIT
man i hated retail during xmas....i worked at Nordstrom Rack which is like the ghetto version, hella broke people tryin to buy expensive shit....i worked the shoe dept at 280 metro, man i would want to really hurt people who would try on like 20 pairs of shoes and just leave em for me to clean up....fuck that place, i went back a few years later and spent $500 on shoes and just laughed at those fuckers...it felt good.
working customer service is a bitch too (phones) hearing about how we ruined xmas for dyin grandmas and shit....hey if you didnt wait until the last minute to shop it would got there on time you cheap bastard, should paid for overnight delivery...not waiting till the 22nd and then not spending the extra $15 to get it there on time....
i worked at good guy for like 3 weeks and quit, shitty ass retail job and no good commissions...
