Joe Montana says Seahawks could be on the verge of a dynasty

Those who think the Seahawks may be on the verge of a dynasty have a somewhat unlikely ally — Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana. I say unlikely only in the sense that Montana created his legend with Seattle’s arch-rival, the 49ers.

But that didn’t stop Montana during an appearance this week on NFL Network’s NFL Total Access from saying that he thinks the Seahawks are here to stay.

You can watch what he said here.

And in a quote provided by the NFL, Montana said, when asked if the Seahawks can be a dynasty: “I think they have the capability to. When you look at the way the team is put together, they’re young, they’re aggressive; their coach is very aggressive and upbeat. Anytime you can make going to work fun, even though you’re playing as I say ‘a stupid game for a living,’ it makes going to that facility every day really a joy. When you’re having fun at what you’re doing, you’re always a lot better at it.”

Seahawks owner Paul Allen offers fans chance to win replica

Seahawks owner Paul Allen will hand out 12 replica rings to 12 fans who submit photos of their "Virtual Super Bowl Ring" using the Seahawks mobile app.

Super Bowl XLVIII is the gift that keeps on giving.

Seahawks players and coaches received their Super Bowl XLVIII championship rings in a special ceremony back on June 19 at the EMP Museum in downtown Seattle, but now Seahawks owner Paul Allen is offering 12 lucky 12s a chance to win a replica of the ring which signifies the capture of the first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.

"@Seahawks fans–Share your virtual #SuperBowlRing from @Seahawks mobile app & win 1 of 12 T @tiffany AndCo replica rings," Allen tweeted Monday morning.

For the technologically-challenged trying to decipher Allen's latest tweet, we're here to help.

First, you'll need to download or update the current version of the Seahawks mobile app for your iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad), Android, Blackberry, or Windows Phone device at Seahawks.com/mobile. Next, snap a photo using the application's new "Virtual Super Bowl Ring" feature. Finally, share that virtual bling on social media using the hashtag '#SuperBowlRing' for your chance to win.

To give you an idea of what kind of photos Seahawks fans have submitted so far, check out our #SuperBowlRing Tagboard.

I welcome all the Seahawks players and fans to dwell on last year. We reloading and we ready for war. #snodaaaaaat

With the additions of DeMarcus Ware, T.J. Ward, Aqib Talib in free agency and the Broncos’ rookie class of 2014, the team certainly reloaded.

Let’s not forget this important fact too. The Broncos were missing 6, count them, 6 starters in the 43-8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Just getting Von Miller, Chris Harris, Jr, Derek Wolfe, and Rahim Moore back is a huge boost to the team.

Lest we should forget, the Broncos themselves certainly haven’t. With the NFC West on the schedule this year, it’s looking like 2014 is going to be the “Revenge Tour” for the Denver Broncos.

Don’t you love to see that fire from your team, Broncos Country?
