All I got to say is DAMNNNNNNNNNN.

This album is soooo damn hot. The songs that really touched me was

Look What I Done For Them
From A Gangsta Like Me
Do That For Me
Frisco Stand Up
Holding Back These Tears
I Got Goons

I hated on this album on siccness before. Now that I listened to it thoroughly I changed my opinion. I can't compare this to E-40's album because they are totally different. Quinn is hella underrated.

I am sorry for making another post about Quinn because this album came out in February and I am sure there was like a million posts about him. I had to voice my opinion on this album because it's so damn hot.

some people are quick to jump da gun and say "it's trash" without giving 30 mins of their time to listen to the album...

as for me, The Rock was my first san quinn album that i have and i'm a new listener that he gained with this album. So i'm positive his older albums are definitely slumpers...

FOR ME QUINN'S SHIT WAS HOT FROM THE JUMP....SOME CATS ANXIETY BE FUCKIN WIT UM ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF LISTENS....
Some people are just haters, and can't wait to be the first to hate, example G-unit haters. If you don't like gay male porn, when someone posts a link would you click it? I wouldn't, but haters will.

Big disapointment for me...far from a classic, just like "i give you my word" and "mighty quinn"...i bet Explosive Mode 2 is way betta

i think bailey and quinn did a reverse in they skillz...
maybe ive expected too much from quinn? but its only cuz i know he can do betta...but for me the last 3 albums havent shown it..i bet his sales show how much his new style is hurtin him

does anyone know how many units quinn done pushed?
he was supposed to have all the good promo too this time and even had a commercial out...but i bet his sales were still bad

ive been sayin this for a long time now...bring back the old Young baby boy San Quinn

"cuz i'll smash on your ass ova duckets
count your blessins cuz im counting mines
livin in this day and age
all i see is dolla signs
will this lead me to my fuckin grave?
my daddy always said its in my genes for me to get paid
neva rollin with the rejects with the game effects
just g's gangstas baby gee oh deez lord please save us!"
-i dont remember the rest...lol

but Quinn's old lyrics and style would smash on any songs on the rock

Yea I finally got the cd a couple days ago. After reading all these threads about the Rock, and people saying it was bad....All I can say is what is wrong with you people. After a couple of listens I'd say The Rock is one of the best cd's I've heard in the last couple of years. Almost all the songs are sick. I have been a fan of San Quinn for a while and he keeps impressing me each time. If you don't have this then your missing out. I have heard the new E40 cd and I'd say this is waaaay better but its two completely different sounds.

I thought it was kind of hit and miss but the good cuts on there are really good which is like half the CD.

The first cut
Planet Fillmoe
Look What I done for them
Lady like you/gangsta like me
Do That For me

and like 3 other cuts are really nice, but some of the production just did'nt grab my ear

His last one was better but it still gets alot of play since i got it

My point is, There are people that do not like something, but they are the first to check it out just so they can say it sucks.

Example, if someone posted a song by G-Unit all the haters would download and post how much it sucks. The same song could of been recorded by their favorite artist and they would say "This shit slaps!".
