Need some help with photoshop!!

Ok I have Photoshop open and when i go to my Color picker or try to change something to Greyscale it isnt in greyscale at all it looks like its in Brown scale if that makes sense.....nothing is grey and if it is grey it is a shade of brown.....here is a screen shot to show you what im talking about

How do I change this shit...its starting to really get on my nerves

Did you change the color mode to gray scale? Image > Mode > Gray scale?

its something to do with your settings on your colors...same thing happens when your using a projector and the settings are incorrect

Tried that...as you can see in the picture that I provided...the BG of Adobe is grey

Ok I found something different....maybe this might help with the figuring out process....

and while messing with it I figured it out....when installing Adobe I had to have pushed a different setting with Adobe as E.Man pointed out....

I went thru and searched thru it until I founf the correct one...my bad...I feel like a damn newbie now for posting this shit up....but maybe it can help someone who needs it now....thanks for the feedback
