everything looked official except the corny acting. they looked like they wasnt into it or taking it seriously. the broads especially, when they said "have you ever done something you knew wasnt right" and "if its anything you taught me its how to count money... daddy". the broads at the sideshow were lightweight corny.
the gangstas and dude wit the suga free perm were coo. some of the broads with smaller roles were coo, like the ones smokin a blunt in the car towardz the end. the dad mo was coo but he didnt seem like he was cut out for a lead role
one good thing bout the actors is that you could tell they're all from the town or at least somewhere in the bay.. i think it woulda been fine as long as there were a few real strong actors. hood flicks are all corny in a way, but the good ones can have serious moments. in sucka free city, it was pretty inaccurate and none of the actors were from the city except the cameos who all had tiny roles, and they were still corny, but at least some of the acting was strong enough to create dramatic moments. the acting was good in the scenes with the lead dude and james brown who ran the program for kids
