The Keystation Pro 88 is the world's first 88-key hammer-action USB MIDI controller, offering a host of advanced features and unprecedented integration with music applications. The response of the professional action has been fine-tuned to satisfy the most demanding players, and 4 zones accommodate up to 4 layers or splits per patch. The stunning complement of MIDI-assignable controllers includes 9 faders, 24 rotary controllers, and 22 buttons. The pitch wheel, modulation wheel, sustain pedal, and controller pedals are all fully assignable as well. 10 memory locations store all controller settings, and the included Enigma editor provides unlimited storage.

its hammer action controller is like plaYING A PIANO,i LIKE THE SYNTH KEY TYPE ACTION,PLUS i AINT SAYIN NOTHIN BAD ABOUT THIS i JUST THINK YOU CAN SPEND THAT EXTRA MONEY YOU GOT BURNIN IN YOUR POCKET AND INSTEAD OF GETTIN THAT PRE SONUS GET A APOGEE MINI MP OR SOMETHIN...OR THAT MOTU, WICH IS A TESTED AND PROVEN PRODUCT

yeah but most people who make beats in rap dont usually like the hammer style keys(most) Itsharder to get some of them rollin basses,and leads when your keys are weighted..
