UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (18-1 MMA) has pulled out of his upcoming title fight with Josh Grispi (14-1 MMA, 4-0 WEC). The fight was scheduled to co-main event UFC 125.

Aldo, who was the reigning WEC champion, was awarded the first ever UFC featherweight title just before UFC 123. This would have been his first title defense; he will have to wait just a little longer to debut in the UFC. An injury suffered from a compacted vertebrae causing tingling in both arms will force him to take at least a month off from training.

Josh Grispi (14 -1 MMA) will now fight replacement Dustin Poirier (8-1 MMA) who started his MMA career with seven straight wins before losing his WEC debut to Danny Castillo by decision at WEC 50. He rebounded with a win in his next fight with Zachary Micklewright by TKO in the first round at WEC 52.

Former NFL superstar and recent turned MMA fighter Herschel Walker (1-0 MMA, 1-0 SF) has been forced to drop out of his scheduled fight Dec. 4 with Scott Carson (4-1 MMA) with a deep cut from a knee in practice that required multiple stitches.

Walker, a former NFL player, trains with AKA in San Jose, California and made his MMA debut earlier this year at Strikeforce Miami Jan. 30 and won the fight by TKO in round 3 over Greg Nagy.
