sup, it dont matter if your white or not, look at that hiphop rapper: "paul wall", hes white and know one give a F*. Nevertheless "enimem" is white and people criticize him. thats hypocritical. theres alot of coo white people, 36mafia had a music video along time ago wit a white rapper(saw it on rap city the basementBET) If your so curious too go to the ghettos of frisco, go right ahead. You remember that music video from "ludacris", "WELCOME TO ATLANTA WHERE THE PLAYAS PLAY AND WE RIDE IN THE STREETS LIKE EVERY DAY". In that video, if you look carefully- ludacris and jurmane dupree are on a charter bus- taking old grandma white people rides down the hood. Theres this one segment when some whitehaired cringled grandma takes her camera and takes pictures (SNAP SNAP SNAP) at a group of 5-9 black people with gold & diamond jewels in there mouth. The message ludacris & jurmane dupree is trying too come across is a sarcastic tone of voice.

Also remema that video from way back in the 90's: (PRETTY FLY FOR A WHITE GUY)? the lyrics go: give it too me baby huh huh, huhuh)

Or what about that BET movie: "CLOCKERS" you rememba that part when those white college kids roll down the ghetto hood projects in that station waggon- trying too buy some cocaine. Some under cover cop suddently busts them- near the run down fast food station.

Of that movie with snoop dog: "BONES"- those 2 white boys in the beggining- go to a rundown hood and meet those 2 black drug dealers- telling them there crack cocaine is stashed because yall could be 5'o. When they go into that abbandoned building a.k.a crack house- there killed by that evil entity.

White people & blacks portrayed negative stero types in industry.

eminem gets shit for being white? from who?...if anything he gets more credit than his wack ass deserves just cause he is white. probably wouldnt of made it to where he is today without having the "gimmick" if you want to call it that of being a dorky looking white guy. people dont care about paul wall being white cause people just dont care in general. only time its an issue is when somebody brings it up like you did. makes people look into things more than they should, and turns things into a race issue even when they werent thinking that way at all.

it was talk that the staff of source magazine were making a promotion deal with hiphop rapper enimem. The music industry is talking about that there was some conspiricy. It was on the 10 oclock news a few months back. They were hating on enimem because hes a white cacuasion middle class hiphop rapper from the suburbs- trying too be something hes not. They denied his promotion for an advertisement or a front picture on the magazine or something.

i dont see alot of it in the industry, but i know, people i talk to that are into rap dont like white artists, and i know if you try to rap around here your gonna get some hate cause folx round here say whites cant rap. either that our they'll hit u with that "wigger" lable. so being a white guy that trys to rap, i see some of what hes talkin bout, but it aint in the idustry as much as in the underground, unless you wanna talk about the black rapper to white rapper ratios

Eminem Vs. Source Magazine

NEW YORK, June 10, 2004

"It is for fans of hip-hop, and not for this court, to decide what if anything this episode means for their opinions of Mathers as a man and as an artist."
U.S. District Judge Gerard Lynch
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(AP) Rap magazine The Source has been ordered to pay Eminem's legal fees for violating a federal court order not to publish full versions of the rapper's racially charged lyrics.

The Source published the lyrics of an Eminem song on its Web site in January, violating a temporary restraining order issued by U.S. District Judge Gerard Lynch in December.

In a pair of rulings made public Wednesday in the copyright dispute between the magazine and the rapper, Lynch ordered The Source to pay legal fees to Shady Records Inc., Eminem's label.

The judge compared Eminem to Benny Goodman and Elvis Presley in finding success in musical genres created by black artists. But he said the First Amendment protects the rapper's "musical commentaries on life."

"It is for fans of hip-hop, and not for this court, to decide what if anything this episode means for their opinions of Mathers as a man and as an artist," the judge wrote.

In December, the judge allowed the magazine to publish limited excerpts from the lyrics and to distribute CDs containing small clips of the songs.

The dispute concerns two recordings made by Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, as a teenager. They include lyrics such as "black girls are dumb, and white girls are good chicks."

The Source's co-owners, David Mays and Raymond Scott, have publicized the records, accusing Eminem of racism. The magazine also published a poster of its co-owner, Raymond Scott, holding Eminem's severed head. Eminem and Mays are white; Scott is black.

Eminem, now 31, has said the recording was "foolishness" that he made as a teenager out of anger and frustration after breaking up with a black girlfriend.

In a companion ruling, the judge dismissed a countersuit filed by The Source against Shady Records and Eminem himself, in which the magazine claimed it held the rights to the songs.

But he denied a request by Shady Records to fine the magazine thousands of dollars because the magazine quickly removed the lyrics in January when lawyers complained.

Michael S. Elkin, a lawyer for The Source, defended the publication of the lyrics.

"The Source had every right to publish the material it did release to inform the public about who Eminem is," he told The New York Times.

Shady Records declined comment.
