I'm doing a photoshoot in a couple days with the Golden Gate. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get to this spot?? I'm coming from Fairfield. So if y'all can give me a hand, that'll be dope. Thanks, world!

Homies directions were close, but I think he was trying to give directions coming northbound. Plus there's no Battery street there. There's Battery Spencer which is definitely a great spot to snap some flicks from. It's an old military spot. I'd go there for some great shots. Here's the directions from Fairfield (these directions end way past the lookouts you want so don't go all the way to McCullough Rd).

It's simple. Heading towards the bridge from Marin you'll see a Sausalito exit right before the bridge. Take that and go left from there. That'll put you on Sausalito Lateral which just runs parallel to the freeway. Sausalito Lateral will then split and you'll want to take the right split which becomes Golden Gate Recreation Area and you'll be heading up the hill. It'll turn into Conzelman. You'll see a parking area for Battery Spencer on the left. The maps below will take you to Conzelman and you'll be close.

go early in the morning thats all i got to say, that shit gets fucking packed....

go during the week, it might be better....


but there's hella spots on the hill.....

Right on, guys. That helped big time; didn't wanna use more gas just to look for the spot (since i already know what the background obviously looks like).

I'll be posting em asap tmrw evening.
