I like Vazquez vs Bey. I think it's a deserved fight. I know the style is ugly but sometimes it can make for a good fight.

Santa Cruz vs Roman. I'll be blunt about it and I don't even know who Roman is. So I can't really count him out. No one can be as bad as a Salka. It's still good to see Cruz get in there.

Angulo vs De La Rosa is decent as well. Angulo makes any fight worth watching. That's just his style.

In terms of it being PPV worthy, it's not the best card. I didn't say it was worth $60 or whatever it costs. I just think it's worth watching and has some names on there.

I bet any one of those fights can actually turn out to be a better fight than the main event. The main isn't necessarily something we haven't already seen. Could be the same thing all over again. Hopefully Maidana can get his distance like he was been working on. That should make it more eye pleasing.

Santa Cruz vs Roman is probably even worse than Garcia vs Salka. Santa Cruz is a hoe for taking such a blatant mismatch. The only reason Garcia vs Salka was worse was because it was the main event but as far as cherry picking goes it's every bit as bad.

Vazquez vs Bey wouldn't be a fight I'd want to watch on Friday Night Fights. Only reason it's on here is Bey is a TMT fighter. Hopefully his T/E ratio is under 60:1 on Saturday.

Lol unreal! Since this fight is for the 147 and 154 belts Team Mayweather tried to make Chino wear 10oz gloves!!!!!!

They tried pull a fast one on Maidana to wear 10oz Gloves

An interesting tidbit of information came out today regarding the never ending glove dispute saga between Floyd Mayweather Jr (46-0, 26 KO’s) and Marcos Maidana (35-4, 31 KO’s). There had been some confusion in the boxing world regarding whether Maidana would fight Mayweather in 8 ounce Everlast Powerlock gloves (which he fought Floyd with in May) or a bigger 10 ounce version of the gloves.

After the final Mayweather-Maidana press conference was over today, Maidana’s trainer Robert Garcia spoke with reporters about the gloves issue and revealed that Marcos almost had to wear 10 ounce Everlast Powerlock gloves in the rematch with Floyd. After going through some general paperwork regarding the fight recently, Garcia discovered that the paperwork indicated 10 ounce gloves were to be used by each fighter in the fight. This came as a complete shock to Garcia and he immediately did something about it.

“As soon as I saw the paper said 10 ounce gloves, I confronted a few people about it and they changed it to 8 ounce gloves. So we will be fighting in 8 ounce gloves,” Garcia stated.

It definitely makes one wonder how the change in glove size was put into the documents without Garcia or anyone from Team Maidana agreeing to it beforehand. It could have been simply an oversight or could have stemmed from the existing confusion over glove choices and amidst the chaos was placed in there without full understanding from everyone.

Whatever the case was, Garcia definitely looked like he was ready to take things to extreme measures in order to ensure the 10 ounce gloves were not going to be used. Therefore although the situation looks finally settled, everyone involved in organizing the event will likely be tense right up until after the weigh-in when both camps get to look at each other’s gloves again. One thing is sure however, Maidana will not be fighting in 10 ounce gloves and under no circumstance will Garcia allow it to happen.

They know this ppv will have low numbers so they have to hike the price up. Like the Canelo fight didn't break ppv buys, but made more money that vs DLH. I usually do order all ppv fights, but this might be the first I say no to, especially since Haymon has been getting on my nerves

I'm getting annoyed with how the media is bashing Floyd just because he said he didn't think the NFL should have went back on the two game Ray Rice suspension. It's a god damn witch hunt right now with the media and anyone that has even a slightly different opinion that goes against popular opinion they get trashed. CNN just did an interview / story with him, talking about shit we already knew with Mayweather. Just exploiting the ray rice situation to attack Floyd so they can create a story. Typical media. Anyways some weigh in pics:
