never been a bad relationship...the ONLY thing that seperates us is land.

If Tone didn't have anything to do with the death of Dre, he sure didn't do enough to try to clear his name. If anything he added fuel to the fire.

When Dre passed, his (Tone's) name was the first thing outta people's mouth. Then he goes and says the line about shootin' vans on the highway, and how "he hates the thizzle dance, so he got rid of the thizzle man"...not too smart if ya ask me.

Out of respect for KC and for the sake of still doin' business as usual out there....it was very oppurtunistic for Tone to be in Vegas and get delt with out there. No matter who it was & what it was about. If he would have been killed by an out of towner in KC...it would have been all bad for business....if it was a hometown thing that got him killed, than it was smart not to do it in town. keeps the heat off the set.

Regardless, another life has been lost. God Bless the Dead.

I guarantee there are over 100 suspects wanting to do that boy. This aint about no Bay/KC shit, never was. The Bay and KC are cuzzins. KC didnt stand behind Tone contrary to popular belief. Trust that our Bay Area cuzzins had to wait in line cuz it could be literally a million reasons why dude got touched. Tone was like a real life Joe Pesci in Casino, didnt respect shit, didnt follow the G-Code, at least Pesci wasnt a snitch, but you see what happened to him cuz AAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the bullshit eventually catches up with you.

Sources: Quadruple Shooting May Be Related to Death of Fat Tone

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sources told KCTV5 News that police were investigating whether a quadruple shooting overnight had any connection to the shooting death Monday in Las Vegas of a rapper with a connection to Kansas City.

On “KCTV5 News at Noon,” KCTV5’s Sharita Hutton said, “Officially, police tell us there is no connection, but our sources tell us this shooting may be related to the shooting death of Fat Tone in Las Vegas.”

The four people were shot and wounded off U.S. Highway 71 near 55th Street.

They were in a vehicle stopped at a stop light when another vehicle pulled up near theirs and one or more people inside fired shots into their vehicle.

The victims drove themselves to a hospital.

Three of them still were there at noon Wednesday. They were listed in serious condition.

Police at the hospital investigating an unrelated matter spotted the victims and called for backup.

Monday in Las Vegas, Anthony Watkins, a Kansas City native also known as Fat Tone, was found dead along with another man.

At about 11 a.m. Wednesday, Las Vegas police released the names of three people they thought might have information about the shooting death of Fat Tone and Jermaine Akins, 24.

They were looking for Andre "Mac Minister" Dow, 34; Tanisha Aaron, 27, and Jason Mathis, 24.

In Kansas City, police didn’t have any suspects in the overnight quadruple shooting in the city, they said.

Fat Tone wasn't the illest MC or nothin but he made some decent little shit. All 3 of his albums are straight. That Only In Killa City is a classic and The Stick-up Kid is right behind it followed by Imma Getcha'. His vol. 2 mixtape is decent too. He was talkin bout a lot of shit and you knew he was a grimey nigga from the streets. RIP Fat Tone
As far as him bein a KC legend? He could've and was gettin up there wether you like him or not but he wasn't at the time of his death. One of KC's elite though.
It seem like nobody really knows if he had somethin to do wit Mac Dre's death. He probably did, he probably didn't, who knows.
I heard FT was grimey and had a lot of enemies so it's not suprising that he got killed. But the tripped out part about it is that it didn't happen in his hometown of KC, it happened in Las Vegas.
What the fuck FT was on or had a rep fo'? Bussin that thang or stickin mufuckas up?
