DENVER - Denver Broncos' defensive tackle Ryan McBean was arrested on Oct. 14 for stalking, 9Wants To Know has learned.
Little information is being released about the case because the arrest warrant for the 3rd year player is under seal. However, 9NEWS has learned that he has posted a $50,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on Oct. 28.
McBean, 27, went to Oklahoma State and was taken in the fourth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2007. He was cut from the Steelers and was subsequently signed by the Broncos in 2008.
McBean has one sack on the season so far.
"We are aware of [McBean's arrest,]" Broncos' Coach John Fox said. "We're gathering information and we'll let the legal process run its course. We are gathering information and hopefully the facts."
