So I guess team Cotto isn't allowing Martinez to wear a knee brace? Lol what kind of Mayweather shit is that?! I already wanted Martinez to win, not because I like him but because I want him to fight Golovkin to determine the true king of the middleweight division, but that's just a bitch move by Cotto. I always respected Cotto because he's a warrior but he's been acting like a diva (his name comes first, Martinez has to enter ring first despite being champion, catch weigh on 153, more money, ring size, gloves and now knee brace!)

Anyways, final Presser:

I'd like to see Martinez Vs. Golovkin as well but Martinez is the true king of the MW division. One of the few divisions that lineage could be traced back over 10 years.
Of course he's the lineal champ. What I mean is that he needs to defend against the #1 contender. It would be a disaster if Cotto wins because there is no way Cotto would fight GGG (or any other top MW). What would happen is Cotto would rematch either Floyd or Pacquiao at like a 155-156 catchweight. And he'd lose to either. So then Floyd or Pac would be the lineal MW champ! lol it would be such a joke. And neither would fight GGG, both would probably vacate and go back to 147/154. So the lineage would be destroyed. That's why Martinez must win.

that's hella shady for Cotto to do that. btw is Martinez 100%? I read somewhere he's not, something like 80-85%.
I don't think he'll ever be 100%. He's got bad legs. But an 80% Martinez should handle Cotto imo, I mean Cotto lost clean and clearly to Austin Trout who is no where near as fast, strong and skilled as Martinez. I just see Martinez tearing Cotto's skin apart like a wet paper bag from the outside all night. Cotto would have to go full beast mode and hope Martinez' legs give out and he literally can't move around.

I hope Martinez gives Cotto an otherworldly beating on Saturday!!! I can't freakin stand Cotto.

Watched 24/7 finally last night, Martinez looked fat. All b.s. aside, this is a legit 50/50 fight that looks to end by ko. Great for the fans. Too bad the undercard is booty.

Yeah I think Martinez is gonna punish Cotto, the only reason it should be competitive would be to see how Martinez reacts after being off with injury for over a year. Cotto just isn't built for MW.

I agree it'd be kind of shitty if he wins, but Martinez could just as well beat Cotto and retire or never fight Golovkin and destroy all lineage anyway. It would be comical to see the line of non MWs that never even dreamed about stepping up to the division willing to fight Cotto at a catchweight if he wins.

I think if Martinez wins fairly easy, and isn't injured, he'll fight GGG next because that's the next biggest money fight out there for him. Well, unless Canelo officially moves up to 160

And if Martinez does retire, at least the #1 MW can fight the #2 and new lineage will begin. Otherwise the MW crown will be held hostage by welterweights fighting eachother at 155 catchweights.
