Agreed 100%. The good news is there is another movie supposed to come out called "The Ice Man" starring Mickey Rourke but that's been in development for like 3 years so who knows.

I was disappointed as fuck with The Iceman, movie seemed way too rushed. The acting was great though, just wanted more out of the actual story, especially after reading about the dude for so many years and watching all those documentaries about him.

This year I really didn't watch too many new movies, think my top 5 of the year that I did see are

Killing Them Softly
Only God Forgives
Man Of Steel
Iron Man 3
Evil Dead

Some of the movies from this year I still really need to see that look good are Pacific Rim, American Hustle, The World's End, Spring Breakers, The Wolf of Wall Street, Gravity, and Thor 2

Missed a lot of movies this year, need to start catching up.

I agree with a couple other posters on here: Spring Breakers wasn't that good. I wouldn't say it was the absolute worst movie necessarily, but it was definitely style over substance, big time. I was waiting for the girls who left to continue in some way in the story arc. The movie didn't really go anywhere, but I suppose it was a somewhat interesting role for Franco.

I wanted to like Stoker so bad. Something was just missing. I still like it, but it's not best of 2013 material, imo. Technically, Snowpiercer (Bong Joon-Ho's English-language debut) is a 2013 release even though we won't be getting it this year. I really need to see that in its un-tampered with form.

I thought Stoker was great. Much better than the mediocre reviews. Not worthy of best movie though.
