Adam Schefter reports that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner(notes) woke up with a sore neck on Sunday and likely won’t play against the Titans, after all.
Warner will be able to play if needed, Schefter says, but it appears that Matt Leinart(notes) will start.
Other sources reported that Warner would start on Sunday.
Warner was listed as questionable for a game as he recovers from a concussion last week in the 21-13 victory at St. Louis. He fully participated in the team’s practices this week and as of Friday said he was feeling good.
