Anyone know anything about filing taxes???

When I worked for a CPA we'd get paid after, but Turbo Tax is all you need. Very simple, even with itemizing.

basically says it all right here!

fuck waiting in a make shift office for hours lke hr block for them to do same thing.

the only thing with paying an accountant being better is you drop shit off takes 1 minute to drop off, and 1 minute to pick up! instead of an hour or 2 with turbo tax.

hr block does free taxes if you make less than 50 a year....


but ya, they can just take the money out of your return if you have them prepare it for you.....

only if you are filing a super simple return which is just filing, no deductions, no itemizations, no house or charities or children etc...

his case doesnt fall anywhere near this from the sounds of it

At H&R block, they'll cut you a check on the spot for returns over $300. They obviously charge extra for the convenience, but hey. Just a heads up.....

^^they do...but personally, unless your filing a complex return or own a small business or summ..h&r block or jackson hewitt is a waste of money...esp if u aint even expectin' a huge refund on top of that fillin a pre-return and cash advance or shit like that is almost like givin away your money...aint worth it mayn

All I know is that my bro-inlaw is a tax accountant so I just bring him my W-2's and a case of beer then weeks later I have money. That's all I need to know. If you're in WA get at me and I'll help you get laced up too.

Turbo Tax FTW. I will never go get my taxes done by someone else ever, unless it gets hella complicated. Did mine last year and it was easy as hell.
