Rock Bottom & I Just Don't Give a Fuck - Eminem
I was goin through mad hard times with learnin stuff bout the Pops I aint never know and I was gettin moved around alot and I was gettin angry and shit so then one day some dummy cracka fuck looked at my Math test so I stuck a compass in the dumbfucks head and then my cousin got stabbed with a fork by this pussy nigga that go round accin hard so I beat the shit outta him and like fucked up his eye socket...Anyway these songs just made me not give two fucks bout nuthin and nobody!

Dance With The Devil - Immortal Technique
Shit just touched me...Coz he aint just make stuff up like that summin like that musta happened and it just made me think...

Joy - Talib Kweli

yeah Eminem Rock Bottom definately a deep song. D12's Fight Music was deep, and so was there song These Drugs, I think it was released only in the UK on Devils Night. It just really hit me hard hearing him talk at the end "Cause I like, I always tell people - yknowhatI'msayin like
If you got an addiction, don't admit, to nobody, yknowhatI'msayin?
Keep that shit to yourself
; because if anybody sees that, yknahmsayin
when you're out in the public eye and shit
they're always gonna think that you're on that shit even if you're not
That's why I always tell my friends, knowhatI'msayin but
I mean, like for me, I don't give a fuck
I'll probably end up, dyin from this shit one day
Probably pick up a newspaper in the morning and it's like
"Eminem dies from, drug overdose" - youknowhatI'msayin? And
And my friends, they ain't no fuckin better, yknowhatI'msayin?
They ain't nothin but influences, bad influences to me, y'know
It's peer pressure, shit is like all peer pressure
That's what it boils down to - and, I give in to it

So do they..
My words are Weapons another deep song to me from D12. I guess its because i grew up listenin to these guys. I cant think of anymore, but if you havent heard These Drugs, try to download somewhere, its a good song

Its weird that both these comments are about Eminem.

One song that means a shitload to me is the instrumental of "If I get Locked Up Tonight" by Eminem. I've never even heard the lyrics...but that's the only song that me and my buddy wrote lyrics to before he died. Now anytime I hear the song I'll always sing his verse to myself in my head.

2Pac - Teardrops and Closed Caskets always hits me deep.

Pink Floyd - Home - kind of self explanatory.

Costa del Sol from the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack is the HAPPIEST song in the world. If you haven't heard it, fucking download it.

Body Rott from Bone reminds me of a lot of my friends from high school. That's basically how any Do or Die, Woodie, or Twista song affects me. High school was a great time, I had a real tight knit group. But now they're all either in jail, rehab, or dead. RIP.

I'm sure there's more...but off the top...that's what I got.

O.K yall new jack booties..haha...L.O.L.

what about ED O.G. and the bulldogs...love comes and goes....not only was the delivery concept meaning on point but the beat is one of my all time favorites

I saw ya, the day before your death before you took your last breath
How many of my real niggaz are still left?
A lot got killed, and filled a wooden box
and went out like ?docks?
I can picture when you went down, just like a ?becks?
Here one day, and gone the next
We all make mistakes, and these are the breaks
but I'm, sick and tired, of goin to wakes
and seein an end, to my friend
So we kicked it to the L to get some brew and gin
Nobody said nothin everyone was pissed
as we got drunk and reminisced
At your funeral, your head we kissed
Didn't go to the burial, but you'll be missed
That's if you didn't know, from your true friends and not your foes
Cause love comes and goes

"Love, comes and goes" (4X)

Now my man, he never had no problems
but he got killed, when niggaz tried to rob him
Because they knew when they did it, they couldn't get away with it
So they killed him, took the dough and split it
Thinkin about the money, and not his four kids
A couple got caught, and now they're doin bids
Loot is worth more than a life, cause niggaz livin trife
My man had four kids, and a wife
Now the kids don't have a father and the wife don't have a husband
because when, you did what you did
the future of his kids may fall down...
... cause he ain't around
I went to his funeral, thinkin maybe soon it will be me
cause Boston got a lot of jealousy
A lot of people just can't take it when another brother makes it
When he makes it, that's when they wanna take it
But there's one thing I know...
... love comes and goes

"Love, comes and goes" (4X)

The most I remember of you, is in the pictures
You were my pops and I won't forget ya
I wish you coulda been there, to see me grow up
Come up like throw up, and blow up, as an entertainer
I think you woulda been proud
to see me at a show, and move the crowd
Your best friend, shot you over five dollars, that ain't right
The money mattered, and not the life
I wonder what you woulda told me, to get a girl and lay her
cause my moms told me you were a player
They tell me I'm your spittin image, from the line of scrimmage
but you was wild unlike my mother I'm timid
God works in different ways and it shows
And everybody knows love comes and goes

That's fucking weird I just busted out "Roxbury 02119" the day before yesterday for the first time in years. It's a great album but I personally like "Life of a Ghetto Kid" more. Love Comes and Goes is the cut though.

Too many to list. Most of it is mid 90's westcoast rap. Those were the BEST times of my life while being the WORST times of my life at the same time.
