not interested in watchin this fakery bakery flik passed off as legit
Parts of it were pretty fake and pathetic how they tried to make Dr Dre look more hardcore than he really was, there were a few scenes in the movie that were fiction.

.I didn't pay a dime to watch it anyway, I watched it for free.

It has been stated that Suge Knight slapped around Death Row artist, but he never put hands on Dr. Dre. Dispite what some believe about Daz being the real producer Dr. Dre was the golden goose there, so Suge never messed with him (from what is stated.)

The whole Daz being the real producer etc. I call bullshit on the fact that the Death Row sound diminished once Dre left. Yes, 2Pac died etc, but the sound of the music died down too.

C'mon. After having that golden sound with Dr. Dre and on to that "Chronic 2000: Still Smoking" double disc of garbage with after market, wannabe, sound like famous rappers was the equivalent of buying your kid toys at a swap meet. And trying to convince him it's the same one from Toy's R Us LOL!

^^^ I dont know what u mean reel to reel but that quality is way to shitty to watch more then a minute of.

Chronic 2001 was also weak, the original Chronic album was good.
You went to far there.

I dont know what i said before about this movie on here but it still bothers me that Dre trying to act like he talked to Eazy on the phone before Eazy passed and that they were gonna get back together. I think thats a load of crap. Nevermind Pac recording Hail Mary before recording California Love lol. Like the last 30 minutes of the movie were all lies except Dres ass having to throw the Apple deal to make himself look even better then he already made himself

I peeped that "Hail Mary" track and thought wtf? But I understand how Hollywood works. I think the movie was great. EAZY E was gangsta than a mothaf*cka! When "NO VASELINE" came on I got pumped.

Watched the movie this weekend and thought it was a great movie, however a few things irked me that were mentioned in here, some not:

From the get go I knew there were going to be some inaccuracies from the very first part of the movie they have eazy in a black and white sox hat from 86, this type of stuff is big with me bc this was my era and I remember when the sox changed their logo in the early 90's it was a hot item to buy bc it was easy to fit in for the gangsta image

The fuck the police part where they got arrested in Detroit didn't go down like that, however for those that don't know it plays an important part in the movie showing them as standing up for what they thought was right, however that was hollywooded.

The pac part with Hail Mary which you guys were discussing

The NWA reunion which again played a big part, I thought that dre and eazy were both against it leading up to Eazy's death (I could be wrong, but this is what I thought was going on back then)

Eazy going out broke, I find this hard to believe bc eazy was steadily active before his passing especially with bone when they blew up

The bone tape at the end to me they made it seem to look like a bone demo tape, or when I seen yellow on the tape I thought maybe they were making it out to be the faces of death tape

The didn't touch much on niggaz4life or Eazy's solo's like its on, which they should have touched since they did dre day, and also straight off the streets which he recorded shortly before his passing

I know a lot of people wanted to see above the law, miche'le, bone, bg knocc out and dresta etc in the movie, but the movie was 2.5 hours and they did touch on a lot, no matter what everyone is going to want more including myself but they did cover what was NWA.

Yellas parts were good, Eazy's character was on point. Suge's character sucked balls

We all knew the movie would be holloywood'd a bit, but overall I really enjoyed the movie and will definitely watch it again.
EAZY E was getting jerked out of his money and had accumulated debts that he knew nothing about. Even though his 187 Its On album sold well and BTNH were coming up he had to pay back a lot of debt.

I think yall misinterpreted that scene. The tape yella gave E on his bed was the actual album that came out after E died which was E 1991 Eternal. E was alive when the EP dropped but it wasnt a full album. Yella mentions the album is dope meaning E 1999. Got Em!!
that was the best selling album under ruthless too.

I liked the concert scenes--the music was loud and bumpin' and you felt what they must've felt being on top the world like that.

The thing that kept bothering me was MC REN looking similar to 'Black' from Belly who gets stomped out by Buns for talking shit.I looked it up and it wasn't him.

The Tupac scene was kinda eerie, the actor looks A LOT like Tupac at times and it was fucking with my brain, like when you see someone you think you know but you're not sure or something.

Dre's actor was pretty weak to me.

Thought it was funny that F. Gary Gray had to put in a scene with Ice Cube writing "FRIDAY" (DJ POOH must've been in the other room at the time I guess) and then him wearing that same shirt that Craig wears in Friday.

This is why I need to watch it a second time, a lot of small things like that are pretty cool to know.

It was never a big secret that Eazy E was simply the money man & didn't rap. He was the only one who was a real gangsta out of the bunch. He slanged dope and had his money right. Hence the fictional introduction to Eazy in the film.

The whole "Bone" tape scene I understood it as, it was an album they completed. I don't remember Yella mentioning that it was a demo in the movie. And I did take that it was the "E. 1999 Eternal" album, but it's pretty reasonable the title came after Eazy's death. That album was released a month after Eazy E passed away, so it did make sense to me that it's in fact the album they mention as complete. That also gives a nodd to the last album on Ruthless Records to be completed while Eazy E was technically still around.

I thought the actors did a great job. I took the film with a grain of salt and took it for what it is. I did think the 2Pac scene was unnecessary, but in the end I think we as fans expected more and sometimes less from the people portrayed in the film. In closing, some people have a certain perspective and it doesn't matter if that's how it really went down, your mind will block it out because in your mind that's not how it's suppose to be. Stop having a haters mind frame.

Let it go and enjoy it for what it is.
