This is a common element in combat sports, even though you could win a fight on points somehow. I think of a fight like Narvaez vs. Donaire or even Arce vs. Donaire where those guys went in to the fight pretty much knowing they had no real shot at beating him.
Anyone ever fought in a situation like that where they pretty much knew they had no chance but fought anyways? In real life, it takes a certain mindset or maybe even stupidity to do this. I haven't done it personally, but have challenged people that I thought would destroy me in a fight but it was over something worth fighting for in those situations and luckily we never fought. Or in another stupid situation I challenged 5 guys to a fight over something stupid and luckily they didn't jump me (I'm an idiot).
This isn't a thread about how much of a badass you are, but I'm curious if other people have been in fights in this type of situation
