Well it's the weekend and I just wanted to post a subject for the weekend....anyway...I recently went to the wherehouse, sam goody, and a popular mom and pops hookin up some new cd's
with my gift cards I got for x-mas! It's been a while since I've been cd shopping and I was shocked! The market is even MORE
SATURATED then when i left it....why???

My thoughts were this...do you think that making a cd has become
way to easy?? I mean anybody can do it now days!

a few hundred for some artwork
50 bucks for a barcode
get some beats from someone...( come on ...everybody's got a triton now days....shit..I can even make beats better than what i hear on somke cd's)
record vocals in some fucked up house studio with a ripped version of pro-tools
master the same way
come up with an original name like mac this or young that.
Get a record label name like smokendankandsippinonsumgin records/productions/street promotions/ bagel company
and presto!! ya got a cd!

For reals though...Im tired of seeing or hearing about everybody and the cousin wanna drop a tape be a star....blow up big....have a tape out....wtf.
16 tracks on an album and they all sound like shit....., you decided to take a chance and buy someone news shit......maybe it had a couple features that attracted you ....maybe it was the art...but you get it home and play it and end up skippin damn near all the tracks......its garbage.....the cat cant rap, the beats sound downloaded from mp3.com....he got 22 different effects on the vocals....

or

you buy the album with all the features....

this album is released by some no name cats out who knows where and you aint never heard of em but they got a compilation out with 19 seperate features and all the features is tight, but the cats album that it actually is cant rap for shit and just ruins every song with his fucked up verses about bullshit.....
