I'm tryna figure out where Ya Boy wants to take his rap career. I mean what type of rapper does he want to be? Seems like the past few months he's been releasing these fucking Kanye West type pop songs. When he raps like that, he is average at best. What does signing to Hoo Bangin' mean for YB's rap career? Because it really seems like he's in an identity crisis as far as his persona and rapping style.

All music on L.A radio sounds like some B.E.P. knockoffs so I see why he raps the way he does now......Unfortunately I can't stand that type of music, but if that's the way they get down now so be it.......

hoo bangin as in Mack 10's label? i got mad respect for Mack 10 but he really hasnt been that tight since like 98. horrible move for YB if this is the case

Whats to be expected? A Hoo-Banging chain and a Mack 10 feature? What the fuck? He must have got a good album advance or something like that cause I dont this going anywhere.

Ya Boy is signed to HOO BANGING/CASH MONEY/UNIVERSAL just like Glasses Malone. Its crazy how people assume and when they do they assume the worst. Ya Boy is a very underrated artist and with the right push he will have a chance to become a superstar type artist. Ya Boy is a versatile artist who can do gangsta shit cuz thats the Fillmore in him but he can do that pop hollywood shit cuz he lives that life as well. Let him do him if you dont like it dont support but keep your negativity to your self cuz it dont change the situation at hand. 1 thing you do have to respect is he went out to LA from the BAY and made the biggest radio hit song for the summer on 3 different radio stations out there called we run LA and you know LA pushes a hardline on there own people let alone people from out of town.

he probably going to try to get in good with wayne and them thru mack 10 and hoo bangin...thats where i see it going but who knows, he's gonna do him regardless we have seen that already...ima support him, his music has been and still slaps. At the least i expect an album to drop with solid production and a video on mtv!

Cash Money lol? Where'd you get this info from cause I doubt they would sign a artist like Ya Boy. Still horrible move if true. That white boy had a huge hit with Lil' Wayne getting played everywhere and sold nothing. I liked Ya Boy, Chapter 1 was a really solid mixtape and I enjoyed it. Since, everything just sounds too generic and all this heat he is releasing, I just don't hear it.

yeah, i probably don't see any album coming out but him featuring on records at least. hopefully he learns and networks properly with this affiliation, i doubt he'll be on this label after 2010. i bet he's gonna get money by ghost writing for lil wayne[ain't he going to jail for a year] or baby.
