why are cats droolin over this guy already?? taken nothin away from him he has good stuff but he's new and people have never seen him...thats why nobody is hittin him yet...take C C Sabathia for instance...another big lefty 6'7'' 280....went 14-3 his rookie year and followed it up with a 13-11....lets let Dontrelle play a few years before we induct him the hall of fame....

Haha seriously. He is a solid pitcher, but i'm not sure hes as dominating as people say. I agree with you 100% on him being able to pitch because hes new. Everyone remember the young Francisco Rodriguez? Look how well hes doing now.

p.s. Got to give some recognition to Frisco's Jerome Williams! Another young pitcher putting up big numbers!

1. You obviously never seen the dude pitch. He IS as dominating as everyone says. If it wasn't for that rain delay game where he gave up like 6 runs in the 3rd inning, his ERA would be miniscule.

2. After K-Rod's horrible start, he went bacc home for something family-related. Ever since he came bacc, he's been almost as good as he was in the playoffs last season.

he was doin the same thing in AA ball, K'n foos forward and backwards all day...he was a minor league player of the year...i watched him ball in high school, and he was throwin 90's like nothin gave up less than 1 run a game all year his sr. year...he's only 21 years old, jus think of the potential he has...and you can ask espn about all the hype on him, but i knew this foo was gon be in the big leagues when we used to play park league together back in the boys club days

my homie Jason Olsen was the AA player of the year a few years ago for the White Sox....do you see him ballin in the league right now??? Minor leagues is totally different than the show buddy....my homie CC Sabathia went 14-3 his rookie year for the Indians in 01....doin the same shit threw two one-hitters and pretty much dominated....now he's just another arm in the rotation....you know why...now theres a scouting report on him....they'll get one on Willis also and thats when we'll find out what the kids made of...

Isn't this his 3rd year in the majors? He was awesome as a rookie too! last year was his sophmore slump and he still pitched well. It's all about control and he's on top of it right now.
