Yeahh Alot of niggaz can spit but they cant write songs 4 shit!! ur hook game has to be on point cuz thats what MAKES A hit these days : a catchy hook and beat. U dont neccesarily have to be a good rapper to blow up aslong as your hookgame is on point and you have a good ear 4 beats.. and you have the connections and are willing to GRIND..
Another thing is people think just cuz a rapper is popular in the bay the rest of the country will automatically like him as soon as they are xposed to him.. a good example of that is KEAK, niggaz love him out here but i dont see him sellin millions with his style.... niggaz have to like you outside the bay/california if u wanna sell records (unless u from the south where they still buy albums and can go gold in they own backyard) u have to have that universal style/sound you can do hyphy music and still have a universal feeling to your music dont make music for the bay make music for EVERYBODY.. and charisma is also important some niggaz can rap but just dont have no fucking personality they sound and look like they died 6 years ago..

Mess-Dude has alot of charisma, he would have TRL types eating out his hand hat fool is hella funny in interviews and shit
Team- Tons of mainstream appeal, I'm not their biggest fan but they have a ton of potential
FAB- Hes gotta knda give his go dumb gimmick a bit of a rest though cuz hes better than that shit
