Tim Duncan... The championships he's won speaks for themselves. Or a case can be made about Kobe and Shaq too...

Lebron carried his team deep into the playoffs last year and the finals this year. I'll give him a 3 more seasons before he has his first of many rings. AI used to be able to carry a team like that, but not as far. Timmy is tight, but boring as hell so I can't vote for the fundamentalist. I hate shaq, and he's proof that size is one of the greatest weapons a center has. kobe, nash, and t-mac are tight too....but t-mac shouldn't be in this poll. I can understand lebron not having been played that many seasons so he's not included.....but fuck that, he reminds me of magic so I'm voting for him.

Allen Iverson. Teams had to switch their whole defensive plays against him when they played the Sixers. He's played through numerous injuries, puts on a great show for the crowd, and has the most respect out of any of them on the list.

tmac has no business being on this list. KG>?

im not the type to say what if... but think....swat tim duncan to the wolves...swat KG to the spurs and i think you would have what he have today.

wolves-tim 12 yr vet wit no rings.
spurs-KG 4 rings.(maybe more)

anyone wanna argue that?

Kobe Bryant, easily. The question is about the "GREATEST NBA PLAYER''...being able to play more than one sport has nothing to do with this. In that case, AI is a pretty damn good football player, and who knows; maybe Tim Duncan can bass fish with the best of 'em...

Kobe is the most talented player in the league, and therefore, my vote goes for him. The only other player getting consideration in MY OPINION, is Tim Duncan.
